Soldiering on!

Feeling rather sorry for myself today- I have. A tonne of reading to do and a chesty cough to contend with!!

It's that time of year again....

Eurggghh! I am moving house... 13 months after last moving. I hate packing and have so much stuff; I really need to throw some of it out! Maybe I need to do another car boot here in Oxford! So today has been taken up with my girlfriend and I packing, packing and more packing! This is just a small selection...

I sold my junk!

Today I sold the contents of my childhood bedroom! Who'd have known that my junk could fetch over £100 at a car boot?! I had lots left at the end, so put it out for those avid car boot-ists to rummage through; I ended up giving half my stuff away! But at least it was out of my hair...

What a way to wake up...

I woke up to this text this morning; Turret Grove is where my family home is - where I was born and where I spent 18 years of my life.

Sad news indeed :(

Today, I am looking forward to going to the cinema, with my girl, to see 'One day' :)

7. Home sweet home

A friend once blogged that 'Home is where I lay my hat'. I was reminded of this today when I saw that my bear had stolen my hat. I am so happy with where I live - it's a beautiful city and more importantly, it's the friends that are around me that make it so pretty.

Smiles all around again today, including my lovely warm bear.

6. A Georgeous affair...

I am making a real effort to go out at every opportunity now that I can and it's paying off; I love meeting up with old friends, and so tonight I ran into Georgeous , who I haven't seen in months!

An upbeat, happy day ended super happy!
